NycoCard® Reader

NycoCard® Reader II is a Point of Care instrument designed for the practical and reliable quantitative measurements of all NycoCard® tests. It is user friendly and combines preset calibration and control measurements.

In combination with Axis-Shield HbA1c, U-Albumin, CRP e D-Dimer tests it is a rapid and  reliable diagnostic system designed to be used not only at Doctor’s Office and small to medium sized Clinical laboratories but also at Hospitals and Accident & Emergency departments and anywhere where rapid, easy but above all, accurate testing is essential.

The practical and handy instrument is equipped  with a liquid crystal display powered by either 220 volts either with rechargeable batteries, thus providing advantages when used for Point of Care Testing (POCT).

Normally, it requires a tiny drop of whole blood (glycohemoglobin  and CRP) or a small quantity (50 uL) of the sample (plasma for D-Dimer, urine for Albumin) to provide final test results in only 2 or 3 minutes.
